My approach to reviews is sourced rather than personally tested: I compile manufacturer specifications, cross-reference them against independent testing data from SaunaSeeker where available, and weight long-term owner reports from r/Sauna and verified buyer communities over short-term first-impression reviews. I am honest about models I haven't personally used and about where the owner community's experience diverges from manufacturer claims. I own a Lifesmart 2-person infrared and use my parents' Almost Heaven barrel sauna regularly — those are my personal reference points.
